I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies in Nov 2016
Interview
I got a phone call roughly a week after applying. Simple phone interview on Hackerrank. The interviewer seemed very new and I didn't really think he was taking things seriously. I was even more suspicious because my resume wasn't very good. Furthermore, it seemed like they got me an interview relatively quickly. Even stranger was that palantir is notorious for asking very difficult or open ended questions. I received a very simple question, followed by general commentary on my interviewers work, some short questions and a farewell.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me how to take an input of several characters with a mapping to values and compute whether or not these character sequences equaled a third character sequence value.
Ex: A -> 1, B -> 2, C -> 3
inputs:
ABC = 123
BCA = 231
Result? = AAA = 111
T or F does 123 + 231 = 111?
Had a chat with HR and then a technical interview with an engineer. They gave some some quite normal leatcode type questions that I had to answer to continue to the next steps.

Interview
I have so far completed the 20 minute recruiter call, which was an easy behavioral. They asked me what I'm looking for in a job and what I do at my current role.

Application
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (New York, NY)
Interview
Quick call with recruiter then technical interview. First call was easy, fit of company etc... Technical interview was leetcode easy and code walk through. Overall, much easier than what I had read online.
