I had a Skype interview first, did a skills test, and then was invited to interview in person with team members. The in-person interview lasted 6 hours, and included meeting 6 people. The company and team are young (average age, I understand, is 27), and the employees I met were all highly intelligent Type-As. The oldest interviewer (other than the manager) was maybe 30 years old. The upside to youth is the creative energy, the drive, the dynamic intellect. The downside to youth, in this case, is that we spent a surprising amount of time on my high-school and undergrad time, which was almost 30 years ago for me, and in my view not very relevant to who I am now and what I can do. This also led to compressing the time allotted to my more-recent career experience. Nevertheless, I thought the interview was professional, in-depth, and I really got the impression they knew they type of person they wanted to hire (which in the end, wasn't me.)
