      Analyst Interview

      18 Aug 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Pall

      Interview

Applied for the position online: liked this part filled out a few demographic questions and submitted my resume. No need to fill out your life's employment history before getting contacted, this was a plus. No cart before the horse! Once contacted for a set time to interview I immediately began to research, review, and “study” for the position. Surprisingly, I was informed more about the company then asked during the interview which is a good thing. I shouldn’t have to recite to someone what they should already know, just a few top points is acceptable in my opinion. I felt that I had a good feel of the company, the expectations of the position, and the culture by my 2nd interview…But my employment journey with Pall didn’t stop here…. The interview process ended up being redundant, I was on interview 3 when I was rejected an hour later with a “cold bland email”. And I was compared to the CEO during my first interview (chuckle, chuckle), this company had me move my schedule on 3 different weeks for 45 minutes, talk about the same thing with 3 different people---2 of the 3 were HR-I really enjoyed speaking with the 1st two the last person we didn’t connect so much; perhaps it was because I wasn’t feeling good or our personalities just didn’t go well together. It would have been more interviews had I made it past the 3rd round. (What…) My spouse does less interviewing and they get flown out to interviews. I was not given the person I spoke with contact info so if I had questions I had to contact a 3rd party with the company to ask them (this takes out the personable feel in my opinion), be prepared to be evaluated and charted on your performance on a weekly basis when employed with the company. They also live by the Kaizen model. *The position is still available weeks after I interviewed and was a reject*

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What is your leadership style? Tell me about yourself? What is your salary range?--during the 1st interview Are you comfortable with the Kaizen Model, Do you feel comfortable having your performance measured on a weekly basis, Describe a situation (when…) in a manufacturing environment ? -- I was asked this by each person I interviewed with on 3 different occasions...as I stated two times prior to the 3rd I have no manufacturing experience I can only tell you in my "comparable" XXX experience. I would think, in my opinion, the 3rd person would be aware of my lack of manufacturer experience but that wasn't the case.

      Interview

Interview process was not so difficult as I was still a fresh graduate so the hiring managers did not ask me hard questions. The hiring managers were friendly as well.
