They asked tell me about yourself, do I know any of the current services offered by the library, and a few of behavioral questions such as what would I do to help someone in the library.

Very straight forward and friendly. If you take the lifeguarding course provided by the city you will have a chance to meet your interviewer as they are also the people who run the course. Very basic questions based on teamwork, skills, and responsibility.
