I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Panda Express (Carson, CA) in Feb 2012
Interview
I was called on a Monday around 1pm and was asked if I was still interested in the job. I had an interview that same day at 5 pm. When I arrived I waited about 5 mins for the manager to come see me, she was polite and courteous. I was asked the basic questions of age and current employment status. I was asked why I wanted to work for the company and what I could bring to the team. The interview lasted about an hour. I was then told if chosen i would have to have a second interview with the ACO. Two days later I was called in for a second interview. The second interview was shorter but more through than the first. I was asked how I would handle certain situations with customers and other situation involving co workers. This interview lasted about 30 mins and I was told I would get a call if hired. A week went by and I did not get a call back. I thought I hadn't gotten the job but 10 days later I was called and told I had been hired.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would you do if your coworker was having problems that were affecting the teams performance?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Panda Express
Interview
It was very easy, just answer honestly since they are hiring they want to hire anyone that shows they will be a good employee. Don't try to move up in management, unless you want to stay with the company for 5+ years, they will make you bend over backwards for them.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Panda Express (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
It was an average interview about 15 minutes long. Not too critical, but they ask a good questions. I had a second interview with the district manager, and she was very nice.
