I had several rounds of interviews. Because I knew someone in the company, I was able to go straight to in person interviews. I first interviewed for an HR position, and although I could tell the team really liked me, my prior experience was not a match for the position. The head of HR then referred me to another position - a temporary, contract position for marketing consultant. I interviewed with a panel of 5 store managers from different locations, and answered situational questions as well as gave them ideas. I followed up the next day with my 30-60-90 day plan, and after a couple of weeks, was offered the job.
