I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Papa John's (Granite Falls, NC) in Oct 2015
Interview
I was hired by owner, so not much of an interview.
Asked me to describe the General managers role.
How to control cost and inventory, and labor.
How would I handle customer concerns.
Easy process, Employer did talk about company and asked what can you bring to the table and sales?
Overall good experience though, Informative and QA the end.
Did well, had 30 general knowledge questions about customer service.
Easy and simple very quick easy advancement not so many step in then process does get a little nerve wrecking but easy questions asked very clear and straightforward about expectations

I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Papa John's (Nashville, TN) in Feb 2019
Interview
It was a 1 hour interview with 3 management members; two DO's and a senior vice president of operations. All three asked questions. It was mildly formal. They asked a lot of questions about food and labor, also culture.
