Time waster - Singapore.
The job seemed like a perfect fit for my skills and experience, so I was eager to apply. After filling out the online application form, I received an email a few days later inviting me to an in-person interview at the company's office. I spent days preparing for the interview, researching the company and practicing my answers to common interview questions.
On the day of the interview, I arrived at the company's headquarters 10 minutes early, as instructed. The receptionist (missing), led myself to the small conference room (via phone instructions) where the interview was to take place. Everything was set up and ready for the interview. However, as soon as the interviewer began, I knew something was off. The interviewer seemed sleepy and disinterested, and I could tell that they were not fully present for the interview.
After a brief introduction, the interviewer began to ask me some basic questions about my background and experience. Despite my best efforts, the interviewer seemed unable to be bothered and the interview lasted only 15 minutes. At the end of the interview, the interviewer thanked me for coming in and said that they would be in touch soon.
I left the interview feeling frustrated and confused. I had spent hours preparing for the interview and had even traveled for it, only to be met with a disinterested interviewer and a brief, unproductive interview. After the interview, my interactions with the company went cold and I never heard back from them. I was disappointed, but not surprised. I couldn't help but think that the whole interview process had been a ploy on the part of the company to collect data from job applicants without actually offering them any real opportunities.
Fortunately, my recent interviews with other companies had gone much better and I had even received some job offers. I am grateful for these opportunities and am determined to move on from the frustrating experience with Parker Hannifin SINGAPORE.
