The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Parker Meggitt (Irvine, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
OMG this is one of the most embarrassing interview processes I've been on. I applied for this role. I met with the head of talent acquisition in Irvine. Conversation went well.
The recruiter calls me two days after informing me that they want to proceed to the offer process. Thereafter days a week goes. I'm texting the recruiter on any updates shes may have.
Recruiter finally gets back to me telling the approval has to go through there corporate office in the United Kingdom.
At this stage I'm thinking to myself the recruiter is not senior level professional as her LinkedIn states. She lacks the mental capacity that a senior should have.
Another week goes by. The recruiter contacts me advising they've hired another lead recruiter whom i need to interview with. I informed her to proceed setting it up. She guaranteed a quick turnaround.
I feel the recruiter and her boss were not on the same page. The HR organization seems to be a circus with no ring master at the helm.
Guess what happened? She ghosted me! I've learned not to ever deal with Meggitt again nor refer anyone I know.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Parker Meggitt (Coventry, England) in Sept 2018
Interview
I applied for the position online and then received a call within a week where I was asked some formality questions and a general chat about my experience.
I was then invited to a first stage face to face in the Coventry which lasted an hour. I then was invited back for a second stage the following week which also lasted an hour.
The interviewers flexed their time so that I could interview first thing (first stage) and late afternoon (second stage) this made it easy for me to manage my time at the job I was then working.
