I went through two interviews and a take-home assignment before receiving a generic rejection email, with no feedback provided despite following up.
In the first interview, there was a strong emphasis on a high-performance, “sprint” culture, frequent feedback, and going beyond defined roles. While that environment can be energizing, the framing leaned more toward challenges than support, which gave me pause.
The second interview was more balanced and conversational. One notable comment was a preference for fully transparent Slack communication (e.g., avoiding private messages), which may work well with strong structure but could become noisy without clear norms.
The assignment itself was substantial, covering travel coordination, communication, and workflow design. I invested significant time to deliver a thorough and organized submission ahead of the deadline.
The lack of feedback or follow-up after that stage stood out as a gap in the candidate experience.
