HM talked for 15 minutes out of a 30 minute interview. Did not give me a chance to explain my experience and only asked me two questions. Was clearly a waste of time for both of us. She could benefit from equitable interview training.
Preliminary call with recruiter. Went over background, qualifications, etc. Very standard. Then he proceeded to rush me to interview the next day with the hiring manager bc she was going out of town next week. "Ok...." I thought. Hurried but better get it in before she leaves! Interview was again standard, various behavioral and situational questions. Seemed like it went well.
Recruiter has not contacted me since. This was 5 weeks ago. I have followed up every single week asking for an update.
Recruiters - PART OF YOUR JOB IS TO TELL CANDIDATES NO.
I'd rather be told no then completely ghosted. Grow a pair, do what you said you were going to do ie "I'll be clear with you and you clear with me"....yeah ok. Dont believe these liars.
