I applied online. I interviewed at PaymentCloud (Encino, CA) in Nov 2022
Interview
The interview process too less than a week. Applied the previous week and had an in-person interview the following Monday. The HR personnel was nice. The company seemed laid back as she had her child present during the interview.
The interview took place in the CEO’s office. It was very uncomfortable because he decided to have a meeting during the interview and was very loud. I also reviewed the post on here in October 2022, but gave the company a chance. However, that person did not lie. Crazy thing was as I was waiting to be interviewed, the CEO walked passed me and said the HR person would be with me shortly. At the time, I didn’t know who he was and he appeared nice. However, I learned otherwise.
The interview last for about 10 minutes but it was really a waste of my time. Quite frankly, I left feeling disrespected. I do not care what position you are in, respect goes both ways. I was appalled because I never experienced an interview like this. I wanted to walk out but again the HR person was very nice and respectful , despite having her child there. In my opinion, she already knew it was a no based on how her boss was disrespectfully acting.
If anything, they could of paid me the $7.25 that I had to pay to park and be disrespected. A major waste of time.
I hope no one else has to endure an experience like I did…
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself. We basically went over my resume talking about each previous position.

Interview
The process is fast and simple if you know your stuff! When PaymentCloud wants to hire someone, they mean it. They will not string you along. I interviewed with Shawn Silver, HR and the CTO/CMO. Silver seems to go with his gut, which worked out in my favor.

Question 1
I was asked a lot about Photoshop and Illustrator and asked to take skills assessments for both.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PaymentCloud (Encino, CA) in Jun 2023
Interview
Applied online and got an email a few says later to set up an interview. The interview was with the head of HR and the CEO. There is another interview review posted in October of 2022 for the same position that I completely agree with. The HR woman was very nice, but the CEO was extremely off-putting. He was rude and kept staring at the HR woman with a look of disgust. From what he said in the interview, it seems like they've had two different assistants fairly recently. I wouldn't be surprised if both assistants quit. I could tell that he's the type of CEO who is horrible to his employees. To be fair, I only talked to him for 20 minutes but when he started talking I immediately knew that if I got an offer I'd decline it. From my interview experience I'd advise anyone looking for an assistant role to not even bother and look elsewhere.
