They didn't know very much about the expectations of the role, for example: KPIs, target markets, or other goals other than GROW everything several times over. I don't think they were clear on what they wanted for the role internally before beginning to interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Paysend (Belgrade, Central Serbia) in Sept 2025
Interview
The interview process went well overall. During the initial stage with HR, there was a strong focus on explaining the company culture and introducing the team. The conversation was friendly and open, creating the impression that there was no barrier between HR and the candidates, which was quite refreshing.
Following the first call, there were two additional technical interview stages, as well as a team meeting. Overall, the process was straightforward and well-organized, with clear communication throughout.
While the number of stages may seem higher than the standard interview process, it also provides candidates with the opportunity to meet their potential future colleagues. For anyone seriously considering their next career move, this is a valuable aspect of the process and helps in making a more informed decision.
