It was easy just a zoom call. They ask why you want to do it, what is your life experiences. As long as you don't have child abuse charges I think you're good

Felt rushed and interviewer seemed annoyed or generally disengaged. Less than 15 minutes into the first interview (on the phone, felt like a screening interview) I am offered the position which gives me pause. No reference checks, no real conversation, just an offer. Felt a bit like she was trying to hit a quota?

Easy. Regional director discusses the significance of the work and highlights aspects that might be challenging. Goes over requirements for CPS training to be sure that you are willing to commit to the 2-week training. Explains what peer support is, asks about interests and relevant experience.
