There are a total of 5 interview stages and you speak to around 7-8 different people from Pendo. Although this might seem long but it is so useful as you understand the company’s culture and people. Interviews are very conversational.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Pendo
Interview
Interview process moved pretty quickly over the span of 3-4 weeks, I went through 4 rounds and in the final round they told me they would be super transparent with me on where they are in they process with other candidates - I was then contacted by the recruiter to say I had been the chosen candidate and was verbally offered the role. I was sent a congratulatory message from a senior leader, they contacted my references and said they were putting together the contract to send over asap - after a week I hadn't received the contract and after several follow ups to multiple people they simply emailed me to say they had actually now filled the role internally at the last minute - there was no apology whatsoever and to be honest it was a very tone deaf email...luckily I hadn't resigned from my current role because I had seen other reviews on here where this exact same thing had happened - be wary!
Bait & switch- Was offered a more senior account executive position when I started the process and a much more junior role in the actual offer. Interviewers were late at each stage.
