I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PenniBlack (London, England) in Apr 2014
Interview
Replied to an ad on caterer and was responded to within a week and I was asked to come in for an interview. Met with the owner, at the time they were going through some changes. I came in for a trial day with the team. It was a shared office and everyone was very friendly. Lunch was provided and because there wasn't much in the area we all ate together in the office but you could go out for lunch if you wanted. They got back to me a day after to offer they job.

They asked me to come in for a 10 minute chat at their Battersea office. Talked to a woman 1 on 1 in her shared office. Very simple interview where they just wanted to check that I was a normal functioning human being i.e. I could hold a tray of glasses!!!!!
I sent my CV and I received an interview date within the hour. I had a quick interview with the owner who told me the company were expanding and she was adding to the team. I was recalled for a trial day 9am-5pm. I quickly learned that 3 people had left the company, the General Manager, Client Manager and Event Coordinator. The owner was taking over as General Manager and my position was to take over the other 2 positions. There was a lot more to the postion then advertised.
