I applied online. I interviewed at Peoplebox in Jan 2026
Interview
The process started with an initial discovery call where I was asked a standard set of screening questions.
This was followed by a video interaction with their AI assistant.
An interview with the CEO was then scheduled, but it was cancelled due to the founder being unavailable. Unfortunately, there was no follow-up or rescheduling afterward, which made the overall experience feel unprofessional and poorly coordinated.

Question 1
The main question was around my background in content/marketing
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Peoplebox (Mumbai) in Dec 2025
Interview
Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn with JD to judge my interest. I got a call for the exploratory call. After I did not agree to disclose my last drawn salary, the interviewer ended the interview and decided we should not proceed. I received an automated mail next day that I have not moved on the next round.
Fair enough.
Few days later, I get a call from the same HR for the same role asking me pre-decided follow up questions saying, they did not send a rejection mail. They were also fine with my salary expectations this time. There was zero correlation in the conversation.
After a few days I get a rejection mail again. Is this a joke???
Funnily they are a platform for talent management and recruitment. Please ensure you have senior people interviewing senior profiles.
