I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Purchase, NY) in Jun 2024
Interview
Introduction call, then a technical interview 12min for python with about 5 questions and 12 min for sql with about 5 questions , and a brief biography. It was very intimidating having the manager watch me on zoom call but she was very nice and you can use any tool or reference to help you.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Plano, TX) in May 2025
Interview
The interview process was disappointing. The interviewer seemed disengaged and uninterested from the start, with very low energy throughout the conversation. The questions asked felt irrelevant to the actual role of a data engineer, making it hard to demonstrate my skills or have a meaningful discussion.
Overall, it didn’t feel like they were serious about hiring for the position. The lack of structure and professionalism made the experience frustrating and unproductive.
