Disrespectful hiring process — save yourself the time
Where do I start.
The recruiter showed up 25 minutes late to the initial call. No heads up, no apology. When she finally joined, she had nothing meaningful to say about the role — couldn't speak to the team, the tech stack, the expectations, nothing. It felt like a formality with no preparation on their end.
The rest of the process followed the same pattern. Delays at every single stage. Vague or no communication. And after I completed a full technical assessment — which took real time and effort — complete radio silence. No outcome, no feedback, nothing. Just ghosted.
This isn't just bad process. It's disrespectful of candidates' time. A technical assessment is a significant ask. The least a company owes you is a response.
If this is how Phantom treats people they're trying to recruit, imagine how they treat their employees. The hiring process is a window into the culture — and this one is cracked.
Do not waste your time here.
