I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PhotoMules
Interview
2, 30 minute interviews, followed by a follow-up final interview.
The whole process was very basic. Unfortunately, the team is so small that there are no specific processes in place, team dynamic and it feels like the two interviewers (founder and current person handling recruitment AND another role, do not understanding the basics of hiring.)
What was extremely off putting was Zach, the founder, had no structure to the interview and it was awkward to say the least. His version of flowing the conversation were redirected back to me with asking too many times, "What questions do you have for me?" I feel like a dodged a bullet because they expect this person to work at a part-time capacity, when there is clearly full-time work and effort involved to bring this recruitment function to where it should be.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What should I know working and collaborating with a recruiter?
What questions do you have for me? (This was asked probably after every single question was answered and was super robotic - both interviews had the same awkward flow.)
