      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PicnicAI

      Interview

Fast interview process; really nice people, standard questions but didn’t feel like enough time to make a decision on either side. There was an initial screen, a couple of 1v1 meetings, a panel presentation, and a final round from there. It was straightforward enough for someone doing the work though so the work was not a major ask.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found the process fast, straightforward, and supported by a kind and professional team. We appreciate your note about the limited time for decision-making on both sides, as it helps us reflect on ways to improve the experience for future candidates. We wish you the best in your career journey!

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at PicnicAI (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2024

      Interview

The interview process consisted of three rounds of interviews (including a panel-style session) with various team members, plus a take home project and presentation via zoom. May have an in-person component as final stage. They canceled on me one hour before my pre-scheduled presentation because they decided to "re-evaluate the position". This is after I completed the three interviews and spent a week working on their sample case. Absolutely unprofessional.
