I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Pinch A Penny (Orlando, FL) in May 2010
Interview
I was called in for an interview. The main part of the interview involved what I want to do with the rest of my life as to see if they could trust that I would like to stay with them. I was then notified that I had the job and to go in on Thursday.
Great! The manager asked me a series of questions including a series of Sales questions. Told me it was fast paced in the summer and wonderful opportunity for promotion. Pinch a Penny was a great employer and would recommend it. I learned a lot.

Got a call from the owner to come in for an interview after applying in store. Came into the store to be interviewed by the owner and his wife. Lasted about 30 minutes with a lot of basic interview questions asked and some small talk. Asked what I knew about pools ect. I got a call a few days later saying I got the job.

Interview
There was only one interview. The manager and the associates were really nice and welcoming. The manager asked me questions about my criminal history, describe the best and worst managers I worked for, if I can handle working with chlorine, testing 50 or more water samples a day, etc. The manager also told me about the starting pay rate and about the evaluation after working there for ninety days.
