I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Piper Companies in Sept 2021
Interview
Prescreen with TA, follow up call with Manager, in person interview with members of the team, follow up with office leader to discuss feelings from both sides and discuss logistics
I applied online. I interviewed at Piper Companies (Columbia, MD) in Dec 2020
Interview
It was a phone screen that was set up through Linked in. The recruiter asked me for dates for availability and I provided 3 but was knocked off because she told me she has to take care of her kids...which is understandable, so I agreed on a better time on working around her clock. Then I got her call yesterday it just seems funny to me that it was 20 min call and she talked about the company and background...great! Then when it was my turn to talk about my background I felt interrupted by her questioning the recruiting side of my job. It sounded like she wanted more from my recruiting experience. Which is I have explained that I worked for a Healthcare billing office not a recruiting office from the beginning and the I only have a minimum of 2 years recruiting people and it's only a part of my job that takes up about 40% of my job task from a bi-monthly basis and depending on if my CEO is hiring. Then she quickly wraps up the call stating that the ultimate decision will be based on someone the named Patrick to decide if I would get hired. Overall the call was ’okay’ just seem a little disoriented.
