The hiring process varies depending on the seniority of the position. Expect to take one or all of verbal reasoning, numeracy, and technical tests.
Regardless of role, you are likely to have an initial interview with someone from the the full-time hiring department. It's a full-time team of 5 partly because of the huge attrition rate in the firm.
Following that, expect one or two more interviews. One will be with the hiring manager and for more senior roles, a Director.
On your first day, they are likely to pull a stunt on you with the Staff Manual. They will not give you visibility of it until just before you sign the contract. Then they will leave you to read the Staff Manual but give you insufficient time and come back into the room expecting you to sign the contract.
My advice is to say that you need to take the Staff Manual away and read it in your own time. Read it properly and if you don't agree, simply don't sign the contract (unless you absolutely need the job). If you are not bothered or agree with the manual, then this isn't going to be an issue. However, in my opinion, the more senior your role, the harder the scrutiny you need to give the document as there is some questionable content.
When joining a new company, it's a good idea to try and speak to someone who works there (or has worked there). This may be your best chance to determine if the organisation is right for you.
