I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PlayHaven (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2014
Interview
Phone interview with a recruiter. Next day set up time to come in the following week to meet with everyone. One person was unavailable, so I would Skype with her the following week. Everyone was super nice, even those who I was not interviewing with. The questions were pretty standard (who would you handle a situation like this, where do you see yourself in 3 years, etc) I was told I would Skype with the other person the following week and she would reach out to me on Monday, but I did not hear from her until Thursday and I had received another offer by then, which I took since I did not want to risk not having a job. However, I wish I had waited. Playhaven took the time to explain to me what was going on in the company, the future of the company and growth opportunities. They even gave me a tour of the office, which let's be honest, most places don't bother doing and on the first day of work you can't even find the bathroom. Not sure why their isn't more love here for them but I see the outlook of this company as very positive.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at PlayHaven (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2013
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter at PlayHaven and went through 3 phone interviews easily. I was told that I was a great candidate for the position, and it seemed like they were excited about me applying. I was then asked to come in for an in-person interview with 4 different people. I did my research on the 4 people I was told I would meet with and prepared myself about the company. I drove up there, paid $20 to park, and was given a schedule of the people I would meet with. 2 of the people listed were people that they had not originally told me about, and the person that I would work directly under -- had I gotten the job -- wasn't even in the office that day. Once the interviews started, it felt more like an interrogation than it did an interview. I understand that interviews are a way for them to ask questions, but it didn't even seem as if they were really interested in my answers. 2 of the 4 didn't even look me in the eye the whole time I was there. As the interview process came to an end, the recruiter who had found me, said that I would hear back either that evening or the next morning latest. I didn't hear back for one whole month. If they want people to feel excited about a position, they need to be more organized and better about communicating with applicants.

Question 1
What is something that you failed at in your previous job and how would you do something that differently?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PlayHaven in Aug 2013
Interview
I applied online and the recruiter contacted me a few days after to set up a phone interview. Unfortunately the recruiter did not call, but emailed me more than 24 hours after stating that they had already found a match. I found this somewhat unprofessional to commit an applicant to an interview, when they already had another person that far along in the process who they were so close to offering the position to.
