The process ha 3 stages: - HR screening - Test assignment - Competency-based interview with hiring managers The first two stages were pretty straightforward and pleasant. The recruiter was really nice and helpful, and the first interview went really well. The test assignment didn't have a strict deadline (I had to come up with it myself), was quite interesting and not too challenging complete, however, some of the tasks could have been worded better. The interview with hiring managers was unfortunately not as pleasant. Both were late for the interview, and one of them was silent almost the entire time. The other one did not properly introduce themselves (or ask me to introduce myself), and started firing questions at me right off the bat, without a proper ice breaker or introduction. It felt quite uncomfortable the entire time, the interview felt more like interrogation rather than a conversation, and the interviewer came off as arrogant and condescending. The questions were worded poorly - perhaps this was on purpose, and I had to dig deeper a few times. Most of the time it felt like they don't really know what they're looking for, or they didn't know how to word it properly. When I finally got to ask a question about what did they enjoyed the most about their work, a hiring manager replied that 'there must be something, but I don't know how to answer that'. Speaks volumes, as they either cannot or do not want to 'sell' their company to the potential employee. It was an interesting experience, however, and I'm really grateful to the recruiter for being exceptionally nice, caring and supportive, and for providing thorough feedback during the whole process and after the final interview.
