A big indicator of how messed up the role would be and the interview experience is how poorly the job description was crafted. Against my better judgement, I submitted anyway hearing from their internal recruiter via email a couple of days later to schedule a screening call. Though the screening call was not with their recruiter, but part of the interview team. The first conversation went ok, though it seemed disjointed. The second conversation was a horrid & unprofessional experience. They never introduced himself, avoided answering my questions, was asking about topics and areas that were not in the position description, and overall had a horrible, entitled, egotistical attitude and approach to interviewing. Think of an individual who knows all about your field, but has never worked in your field – and knows what you should know, beyond the years of experience you may have in your field. The third interview was a waste of time. The individual had clearly not reviewed my resume, asking basic questions of my education. Kicking off the interview she stated she did not know why she was talking with me, and did not know what would be needed for this role. It was a nice conversation, but unprepared and unwarranted. The experience completely turned me off this company and the role; and I can not ethically recommend working at this company to anyone.
