I applied online, and submitted both a Resume and Cover Letter. I got a request for a phone interview by an RStudio recruiter within an hour of submitting my application. The phone interview seemed to go quite well. So at the end of the interview, I asked what the next steps were. I was told that I would be contacted by either the Recruiter or the Hiring Manager "tonight or tomorrow morning." I was also told that there would likely be two more interviews. One with the Hiring Manager, and the next with about 4 team members with whom I would be working. The evening of the phone interview, I sent a 'Thank You' email to the recruiter who interviewed me, and heard nothing back. Three days went by and I received no follow-up correspondence, despite having been told that I would. After three days, I sent a follow-up email inquiring about the status of my application and if there is anything I could be doing. I Received nothing but radio silence. I find it hard to believe this company employs "kind and empathic" people as they state, when I was treated disrespectfully at best, and lied to at worst.
