I applied online. I interviewed at Power Home Remodeling in May 2024
Interview
Easy phone screening that did not allow space to ask specifics about the position. This was followed by an in person interview where I was informed that before moving into a sals rep position, all employees start as a door to door (all weather) appointment setter on a very low base pay with commission/bonus structure. Unless you get appointments, you are likely not going to be able to pay your bills if you are an average American adult. In speaking with an employee before the interview, it seemed like the turnover for the starter position was quite high. If you are not available to work weekends and evening as needed (how are you supposed to build a child care plan around this?) and are not thrilled by the base pay they will not be interested in hiring you. There seems to be potential for high pay if you are a closer, but it seemed like "The Company" would like to be your whole life. Customer reviews show both great and some awful reviews.

Question 1
Are you available to work nights and weekends as needed

Interview
The interviewers were nice. However, when I asked about pay structure in my first interview the interviewer said that question would be answered in m second interview. When I asked about it in my second interview, that interviewer said he could not answer my question and that it would be discussed in my third interview. I ultimately canceled my third interview due to lack of transparency about the pay.
I applied online. I interviewed at Power Home Remodeling (New York, NY) in May 2026
Interview
Great initial interview, immediately was selected to move forward with a second round interview. The first interviews are virtual and with very welcoming people. The interview process is quick, for me at least, it moved fast, scheduling the second interview to be the same day as the first.
