I had a phone interview followed by an In-Person interview. I was interviewed by a few people from modeling and software groups. Unlike most interviews, they took the time and effort to explain their products and challenges in detail. The Data scientist has an unrealistic goal of converting their models into Spark framework by the end of the year. The company advertises a lot about Big data on their website but the software team was ignorant about Big data technologies and seem to be struggling with basic data pipelines.
