A 15–30 minute phone or video call. You may be asked: “Tell me about yourself,” “Why this internship,” “What technical skills do you have,” “Walk me through a project,” plus behavioral questions. Could be a timed coding challenge (on platforms like HackerRank, LeetCode, etc.), or a take-home assignment (build a small app, solve a data issue, algorithmic problem). May include SQL, data modeling, algorithms, frontend/backend, or domain-specific logic (e.g. clinical informatics)
