      I interviewed at PrepMatters

      Interview

I applied online and after a phone interview, was invited to interview in person. I thought the interview went well but I was chosen not to be advanced further. To their credit, they got back to me about that fact which too many employers simply neglect to do. What I found annoying and super unhelpful was that when I asked, they wouldn't provide feedback on what I could have done to improve/what I did that led to their decision not to advance me due to official policy. Applying for jobs is an emotionally exhausting, draining grind and while you don't have to hire people, you should be transparent with them about why you make a decision not to.
