In late April 2025, I was contacted directly via LinkedIn by the Head of the Recruitment Committee at the College of Law, Prince Sultan University. He invited me to submit my CV for a faculty position, although no public job advertisement had been posted at the time. I submitted my application promptly and was later interviewed in mid-May via phone, followed by a formal online interview with a five-member academic committee on May 21.
The interview was conducted professionally, and I was informed at the end that a decision would be communicated at the soonest. However, despite this assurance, I received no updates for over a month following the interview. Eventually, after sending a polite follow-up message, I received a brief response stating that I had not been selected.
