I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Houston, TX) in Apr 2019
Interview
After filling out the online application, you are invited to complete an online assessment. The assessment measures your ability to follow trends and think critically, as well as some of your work preferences and how you approach certain situations.
If you pass the online assessment, you move on to the phone interview. During the phone interview, you will go over the position, review your background, answer some behavioral type questions and then have an opportunity to ask questions about the position and the company.
If you successfully complete the phone interview you will be asked to do an in-person interview, which can be done virtually if you are applying from out of state.

Interview
The interview process is pretty strenuous. You do have an assessment that you have to take. Before you get the in person interview. After you do the assessment you do have virtual star question method questions that you have to answer. If you don’t do well with that you won’t get the final interview with the recruiter or hiring person. Definitely study STAR questions. They’re kinda hard. And then the final interview they do ask you a few star questions as well. You can use the ones from your virtual interview. It was really easy-going though. I did appreciate how easy the conversation was for the final interview.
