I applied online. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Plymouth, MI) in Oct 2014
Interview
The hiring process takes about a month. Phone interview then an in person on site interview within 2-3 weeks. Still awaiting the final call but I am pretty confident with my previous background in the same field. Email confirmation whenever you are moved forward. Overall the communication has been positive and timely.

Interview
The interview process is pretty strenuous. You do have an assessment that you have to take. Before you get the in person interview. After you do the assessment you do have virtual star question method questions that you have to answer. If you don’t do well with that you won’t get the final interview with the recruiter or hiring person. Definitely study STAR questions. They’re kinda hard. And then the final interview they do ask you a few star questions as well. You can use the ones from your virtual interview. It was really easy-going though. I did appreciate how easy the conversation was for the final interview.
