The recruiter was really nice and gave me feedback quickly after each round. Compensation was slightly above average depending on the bonus. The overall process was way too drawn out though. I had to do a recruiter screening, hiring manager round, three separate panels each made up of people from the same types of job roles, then a final call with the recruiter. Progressive is way too heavy on the STAR method, which leads to questions that don't always give you a chance to showcase your unique skills and being asked variations of the same question several times. My impression during the interviews was that the overall technology group was very dated in their practices and stack. In total it took almost seven weeks to finish only to find out they picked someone else.
