There are a total of four interviews: two phone screens (one with the Propeller Recruiter or team member, and one with another Propeller team member), a Skype call (if you are out of state) with Leadership team member, and final in-person case study on-site at Propeller.
I interviewed from out of state, and setting up the final case study in Portland was pretty painless. Propeller worked with me in determining a reasonable day and time to fly in, and they provided set hours during the work week which are routinely set aside for case study interviews. Considering I flew from across the country while still employed full-time, Propeller made scheduling the in-person case study seem straightforward and even simple.
This process looks intimidating from the outside, but as others have noted, if you are open, curious, and communicative, it will shine through and the interviews will turn out to be enjoyable. Everyone I met from Propeller was genuinely inquisitive and caring, and even the case study interview turned out to be a lot of fun!
This interviewing process is very unique and focused, and is a refreshing break from standard, rote questionnaires. By the end of the case study, I felt like I had been able to express myself throughout each step with Propeller, and was satisfied with the entire experience regardless of whether I was offered the job.
