This company outsources it's recruiting department. Three employees have now told me this and from the impression they are making, they aren't happy with their service. I am not happy with their service either. I found out that I had applied for a position that was now filled and not updated on the site, I am now crossing this company off my list. I spent 1.5 hours working on applying for a job I had no chance of getting. If there are lots of comments about recruiting customer service, Providence should consider taking it back in-house and being responsible for it. It is not leaving a good impression with job seekers.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The people at the job fair weren't even from the recruiting company and hence, didn't have cards and want to connect on LinkedIn. They gave me a card that had a QR code. It was very impersonal.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Providence (Portland, OR) in Aug 2016
Interview
Do NOT lie on your Resume. They are incredibly thorough, will contact each of your references plus your past employers. If they do not receive the answers they are seeking, they will request you send W-2's or Paystubs to prove employment. Be honest and you will have no problem!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"Of the many candidates we are interviewing, why should we choose you? Why do you stick out amongst them all?"
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Providence (Portland, OR) in Sept 2014
Interview
Interview was casual with basic customer service questions. It was distracted to see the interviewers writing down my responses as I'm talking to them. Interview lasted an hour and the people are friendly.
