The virtual interview was at 10AM. I showed up 10 minutes early. By 10:05AM, no one was there, so I emailed the hiring team as recommended by their email. After a couple back and forth emails, no one came onto the interview. It was 10:30 and I wasted 40 minutes waiting in the room just for no one to show up. I left the meeting room asked if I should reschedule, and haven't gotten a response. I then got an email saying the canceled by other interview for the same position and rejected me from the position. I didn't even get a chance to interview and they rejected me. I wasted so much time waiting in the room and preparing for the interview. I have volunteered with Providence before and was super excited to work with them. I would understand getting rejected, but I didn't even get the chance to interview. Disappointingly unprofessional. Still have not gotten a reason for the confusion.
