Asked what I knew about the company. Interviewer was impressed I knew the founder and when it was founded. The interview was very easy and no prior work experience was needed.

Easy; Waited for the managers to call me. Got called in a room with two managers and was asked a series of questions. Took a drug test during the day of the interview. Got offered the job on the spot and signed up for orientation.

Tell us about yourself. Why Publix? How would you deal with an angry customer?
Really was easy. Basically the only question asked was why I wanted to work there. I basically just said because I’ve always enjoyed going to Publix growing up and seeing all the employees with a smile made me know it was a good place to work.
