Customer service and assistant managers interviewed in a tiny office. They each had a notebook which appeared to be a guide for the interview process. They appeared to be under 30 years old. The younger appearing, though senior customer service manager had been with Publix for 13 years and I believe it was her first and only job. I was 20 years plus their senior and so over qualified for the job I think they found me intimidating. They tried many questions to disqualify me for other reasons -- Do you mind being a cashier, or cleaning up, or stocking shelves? Do you mind travelling to other stores? Do you mind working weekends and holidays? These were just a few of the questions they asked.
