I had an unusual experience with Push Black during their interview process. Instead of traditional one-on-one discussions or reviews of past work, they insisted on recording video responses. This immediately raised concerns for me. It suggests a lack of personal touch, and perhaps an inclination towards micromanagement. Furthermore, their process made me wonder about their expectations for working hours. What left a more significant mark, however, was their lack of follow-up. Despite completing their requirements, I was met with silence. It's disappointing, especially from a company that champions black empowerment, to see such a lapse in basic professional courtesy.
