Interview
Interviewed for multiple Software Engineer positions at Qlik and received an offer for one one them.
The interview process involves a quick chat about the company and role with the recruiter. My recruiter was Ian Wright from the UK. Great guy, incredibly responsive.
Second stage was a technical screening from the hiring manager. The hiring manager that you interview with is the person you will be reporting to.
Third stage is 1-2 interviews with various members of of the team. This stage can include a take home project to demo and/or technical questions pertaining to the role.
The offer comes within a few days after the final interview.

Write a RESTful API service that manages a simple resource. Use standard practices such as test driven development, code commenting, documentation.

The final interview was more of an informal discussion/organizational fit.
Assignment was broad, goal was to create a microservice that allowed a user to interact in different ways with an LLM. There were several suggested directions and ideas for testing beyond just writing up an API (testing scalability, handling different traffic scenarios, etc). There was no strict time limit, but they said people typically spend 8hrs or so.

First hr round asking non-technical questions such as tell me about yourself, why apply for this job etc. Second round with manager giving more context about the team and their work, then ask questions accordingly, if the manager is satisfied, there is a coding test.
