      Human Resources Interview

      7 Jun 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience

      Application

      I interviewed at Quest Diagnostics

      Interview

Very smooth process. The online application was easy to complete. I interviewed with 3 people on the first day and another employee for the second round and I had an answer the following week.

      Human Resources Interview

      22 Jan 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Tampa, FL
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Quest Diagnostics (Tampa, FL) in Jan 2020

      Interview

The interview process was not good. The person conducting the interview did not seem to know how to conduct an interview. The first phase was a phone interview with the hiring manager. In the nearly 1 hour interview, I only spoke for about 4 minutes. She spoke almost constantly without really asking many questions of me. After our Skype "interview", she asked me to come in for an in-person interview. When I got there she was late due to an issue with the system. She gave me a tour, but most of the time I did not have her attention. She there were several interruptions. Once again I was not asked any questions that gauged my ability to do the job. She seemed to complain about the work and her experience more than anything. I am not sure if she was venting or trying to scare me off intentionally.

Tell me about yourself? Do you have any questions?

      Human Resources Interview

      7 Mar 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Quest Diagnostics (New York, NY)

      Interview

Initial phone screen. Read questions from a list. Very curt and abrupt. Seemed to be searching for ways to catch you lacking knowledge of particular processes and models. Next round with hiring manager even more bizarre. People with PhD’s like talking theory as if they’re still in a classroom with students, not in an organization with real employees. Icy cold interviewers who haven’t learned how to establish rapport and show basic respect to candidates.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How much were you paid in last few jobs? (Ancient question). Tell me all the HR models you are familiar with. (a final exam essay question?)
