I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Q² Solutions (San Juan Capistrano, CA) in Jan 2018
Interview
Needed to check in with security at the front gate, followed by security at the front desk. They then walked me over to the meeting room that was past the laboratory space, They asked about my experiences and what I learned, from it. Not questions, let alone difficult ones. I finished the interview relatively quickly. They had several other candidates, mentioning that most of the people interviewing and in similar positions are recent college graduates.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Q² Solutions (Durham, NC) in Jan 2021
Interview
Very informative and welcoming interview. I had an initial interview with a scientific recruiter as this position started out as a contract position and was extended a full-time offer. I then had an interview with the manager of the team where they ask about my lab background/assays experience and scenarios where I troubleshoot and performed data analysis.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Q² Solutions (Durham, NC) in Aug 2020
Interview
- Started with a call back from a recruiter about my application on LinkedIn. It was short about 15 minutes to ask about my general experience, how I heard about Q2 and what made me want to apply. From here I got an interview with the lab director over Microsoft teams where I had a 30 minute discussion about my relevant lab experience and how my values aligned with Q2's mission in clinical research. Finally I had a panel interview set up with my now direct lab manager and assistant manager to go over in detail the processes in the lab and my previous experience with them. Everyone was very nice and even though some questions where technical I never felt stressed or intimidated.
