Was asked experience with retail sales, operating a cash register, work process was explained, many forms were signed off on concerning policies for store. Vacation was discussed. Time of shift was assigned. One week of training on day shift hours. Trained by other cashier worker. Night duties were shown to me. Closing register, sweeping and mopping floor, counting safe amount. Recording scratch tickets sold. Cleaning food holding items, kitchen utensils, baking trays. Locking up and turning on security system.
