Interview
It took over a year and 7 interviews to be considered for the gallery designer position. The gentalman that interviewed me during my 5-7th interview assnigned me a "practice" design project to see what I could do. I have 12 years experience in interior design and have a degree in it as well. Trust me I know what I'm doing. However when presented with this challenge I was given 7 days to complete the entire project. They also did not give me any peramaters on how the company's unique and unrealistic design culture is. He just told me, "have fun with it." After finally receiving my promised project info via email 2 days late, I had to scramble to complete the project in a timely manner. The directions for the project were vague and board line cryptic. When I went in for my 7th and final presentation/ interview... Not only did the interviewer get up from our meeting multiple times to answer his cell, but also accused my of not understanding the company design prefrances?! He then offered me a sale associate position. Even worse after that he had the oddacity to ask me how I created my 3D renderings? He was clearly impressed by my 3D perspectives, and wanted to learn my technique. The worst part of this entire ordeal is that I came to find out after my interview that the woman sitting in during the entire meeting had already been offered the job I was interviewing for!! Shame on them as this goes against all of their "core values" crap. They waisted 1 year of my personal time and energy, just for me to find out they have no idea what true custom high end design is, and how to follow their own values. Dsigners beware!!!!
Interview process is quite lengthy. I went through several rounds, before being extended an offer, Be prepared to complete a project prior to being hired and be comfortable speaking on camera.

We scheduled a pre - interview and it went great, the interviewer was extremely helpful, respectful and willing to answer all of my questions. Looking forward for the actual interview, she made everything clear and even gave me some tips.

Interview
First meeting was with a Design Leader over Zoom, then there was a second interview with Gallery Leader and Advanced Designer. I then reached out for follow up the 2 days after they would follow up with me. They then scheduled a next steps meeting with me 2 days later via zoom. The meeting invitee emailed to reschedule for later that day, or the next, due to an emergency and mentioned a zoom meeting was not necessary. Scheduled a call for the next day at the same time and instead of receiving a call, received an email 5 mins ahead of schedule stating that after internal development, and decided to move in a different direction. Proceed with caution as not only is their process inconsiderate of your time, but the lack of professionalism associated with the upper management to carry out simple communication expectations is a concern for how you are perceived and appreciated as an employee.
