Initial communication is via emails. I went through one written test and two oral interviews.
I did not get the position and feedback on my interview performance is by request.
The feedback given was inept and did not truly highlight why I was not suitable for the position.
Internal candidates' success is majorly based on his/her relationship with their supervisor and not on job performance which has a lot of bias.
External candidates have a better chance at getting the job as they are able to avoid biased evaluation.
