I applied online. I interviewed at Raconteur (London, England)

      Interview

The interview process started off well but over time became extremely disheartening. I understand completely the necessity of hiring ideal staff, but four interviews for a position available to those without any commercial experience seems over the top. Also, I was given very little notice for continued processes and scheduled interviews. I wish there had been better communication and a full explanation of hiring process. Also, I had subsequently asked for feedback after three weeks of interviews and was ignored. This is not good practice. It's a bit of a confidence-breaker after preparing a presentation et al., to not understand better why they did not feel the role was a good fit. First interview is an initial conversation gauging who you are and your current role. Second interview visiting the offices, which are very cool and open plan. The staff were really relaxed, driven and welcoming. The hiring managers were very easy to talk to and had a great conversation about media, print, and personal passions. This was followed by an online assessment (aka a Prysm Test). The third interview provided a brief to which you had to prepare a presentation. The brief asked for a topic for a potential special presentation. Afterwards, you were given a series of questions about your presentation and had your Prysm Test analysis. Any "shortcomings" in your Prysm Test, you have to answer for. Fourth interview was a sit down with senior management. It was essentially a state-your-case interview, i.e. "but, WHY you?"

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Raconteur (London, England) in Sept 2019

      Interview

It was quite challenging/combative in terms of questioning but I think this was their strategy at the time to make sure you had the confidence and ability to deal with high pressure situations

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Raconteur (London, England) in Apr 2019

      Interview

Informal one-on-one chat about experiences, my interest in the company and why my skillset would be a good fit for the role (sales focused). The interview lasted about 45mins. It was pretty relaxed and more about finding the right kind of person rather than just experience focused.
