I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Raising Cane's (Calif City, CA) in Dec 2025
Interview
Submitted my resume for employee relations role. Unimpressed with the interviewer who showed up to the interview looking rather sloppy with a sweatshirt on. Asked me about comp expectations and would not disclose comp range which was the second red flag. In fact, I live in a state where pay transparency is required. She asked me twice and both times I stated that I could not answer without knowing the pay range for the position. The last straw was her telling me close to the end of the interview that they were looking for someone with more managerial experience and if I would consider a "field" worker position. Note, they had my resume and reached out to me for an interview. I had more experience and licenses (plural) more than the interviewer interviewing me who admitted she "ended" up in that role. Complete turn off. I withdrew my application. No, thank you. Wouldn't want to work for her, with her or company that lacks pay transparency.
